This training course provides a comprehensive introduction to the role of the Product Owner. Participants will learn the basics of Scrum and the responsibilities of the Product Owner. The training course specifically prepares participants for the Professional Scrum Product Owner 1 (PSPO 1) certification and provides practical methods for successful product development.

Methodology
This training course combines theory with numerous practical exercises, case studies, and simulations. Participants will receive access to the training materials prior to the start.
Target Group
This training course is aimed for aspiring Product Owners and those interested in the role with no or basic experience and would like to prepare for the PSPO I certification.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of agility is recommended. Ideally you have already gained some experience in an agile setting. However, prior knowledge is not mandatory. If the PSPO I certification has already been successfully completed, we recommend to register for the Product Owner Advanced training.
Certification
Upon completing the training course, participants are well prepared for the PSPO I exam and can take the certification test. The exam fee for one attempt is included in the training course.

How can I register for a training course?
You can register for a training course directly online on the website, via email or by phone trough our Academy administration office.
Is there a maximum number of participants per training course?
To ensure an optimal learning environment, the number of participants is limited. We recommend registering early to secure your spot.
What is the best way to get to the Training Center and is parking available?
We generally recommend using public transportation. Our Training Center is located near Luzern train station at Werftestrasse 3 and can be easily reached on foot via a mostly covered pathway.
For those traveling by car, a limited number of public parking spaces are available nearby.

Is catering included in the training course?
Light refreshments are provided during breaks, including coffee, tea, water and some snacks. Lunch is not included. Participants have access to a variety of lunch options in the surrounding area.
Are the training courses accessible for people with disabilities?
Our Training Center is fully accessible. It features wheelchair access, an elevator, and a wheelchair-friendly restroom. Please inform us in advance about any specific needs so we can support you in the best possible way.
Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
Rescheduling or canceling your booking is free of charge up to 12 working days before the training starts. Please note that after this period, processing fees will apply.
We reserve the right to cancel training courses if the number of participants is too low or in cases of force majeure (e.g., sickness or accident of the Trainer, epidemic, pandemic or similar events).

What payment methods are available?
Training course fees can be conveniently paid by invoice.
Can I provide a different billing address?
You can specify an alternative billing contact during registration. When registering online, select the checkbox “Invoice to company address” and fill in the corresponding fields.
Will I receive a training course certificate?
Upon successful completion of a training course, all participants will receive an AgileAdvant certificate. Whether the training course also prepares you for an additional certificate is specified in the respective course description published on the website.
